Kathryn
Young Deaville expresses a keen interest in the built environment
in her colorful oil paintings. Having studied architecture at
Miami University of Ohio, University of Pennsylvania and the
Architectural Association of London, England, she has had a career
as an architect in both Cleveland, Ohio and Philadelphia, PA. Now
she uses canvas to interpret the unique character of the buildings
and streetscapes of West Chester, PA, and other Delaware Valley
scenes.
Her
artwork can be seen at the Visual
Expansion Gallery,
West Chester, PA, and
the Exton gallery of the Chester County Art Association. She has
also exhibited at numerous juried shows at Immaculata University,
Daylesford Abbey, Chadds Ford Art Show, Chester Springs Studio,
Delaware Valley Art League, Salon des Amis Gallery and the Chester
County Art Association. |
